Precision Clean HD®

Our NASA-certified Precision Clean HD® bags are our cleanest, most durable bags. Their high-strength base resins form a super smooth film surface that is ideal for packaging items that are sensitive to scuffing and particle-generation during transportation. PCHD bags are manufactured in our ISO Class 4 clean room, are available printed and unprinted, and are suitable for Gamma or Ethylene Oxide sterilization. To ensure the highest standards of traceability and quality, each order is manufactured from its own exclusive base of raw materials, which are tested regularly for leachables, extractables, and off-gassing characteristics. Each manufacturing job is tested for particle content and certified with a letter of conformance.

Although PCHD bags are not explicitly clear, they are translucent with contact clarity. In gauges under .002" we have observed customers able to scan bar codes through PCHD as long as the bar codes are in direct contact with the film surface.

They are well-suited for packaging medical devices, gloves, cleanroom supplies, or other products requiring a similar level of surface cleanliness. High-density polyethylene’s great strength allows reduction in the gauge of the film, making these bags available in gauges from .0008" to .004". Custom sizes ranging from 3" x 3" to 48" x 52" are available with easy-open linear tear features, or as a side and bottom-gusseted bag.

Precision Clean HD film is also available as rollstock in tubing and in a centerfold format. PCHD bags are manufactured and packaged in our Class 4 cleanroom. They are available printed or unprinted and are suitable for sterilization by gamma radiation.
