Fisher Container can supply you with a wide variety of shrink films for case bundling, bottling, canning, contract packaging, and overwrap.  The most commonly requested shrink film types are:

Bundling Film:

Bundling film is a commonly used term to describe polyethylene based shrink film.  Polyethylene shrink film is available in a wide variety of caste

formats.  Low end bundling applications will require less clear, tough overwrap film.  High end bundling film may require either super clarity, or toughness, or both.  In addition, bundling film can be produced in ways that effect dimensional shrink and sealing characteristics.  It is critical that Fisher Container know the type of equipment, fill speed, seal strength requirements, and the markets that you are targeting so that we can match your needs with the appropriate film type.

Polyethylene bundling film is available in co-extrusion, monolayer, and blended co-polymer formats. Fisher Container is a superb printer of bundling films.  (Note: printing section of our web)  We would work with you in graphics development by providing grid trials and work templates.
 

Polyolefin:

Polyolefin is an; industry term used to describe polypropylene based shrink films that are blended or co-extruded with polyethylene.  Polyolefins are available in a wide variety of formats and used in more upscale wraps that need higher gloss and clarity than bundling film.  Polyolefins are more expensive than bundling films as well.

Like bundling films, polyolefin is available at different price points, with cost dependent on desired clarity, seal strength, fill speed, and dimensional shrink.  Please contact us for the appropriate film recommendation.

Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC):

PVC is a superb shrink film with high gloss and clarity.  PVC film is more expensive than polyolefin or bundling film, however its rich look and feel adds to perceived value in the retail chain.  Different types of PVC are available, depending upon your need for seal strength, fill speed and dimensional shrink.  Please contact us for a PVC film recommendation.
